Constant Innovation Is Not An Option Anymore

    Feb 10, 2026•Entrepreneurship

Constant innovation is not an option anymore — with technology moving fast and execution easier than ever, the bar has been raised for what customers expect and what constitutes competitiveness.

It is scary how quickly things are becoming obsolete now — and the only way around this for founders is to spend active, dedicated time on applied R&D and product development.

This is where small teams win

Small teams are not locked into bureaucratic structures and existing infrastructure. In that way, it pays to stay small for longer now.

Small, agile, clever can now really beat companies that used to intimidate and dominate by sheer size and scale.

Even well-funded companies find themselves at the wrong end of this now because their expected returns, investor pressure and larger teams mean they can't capitalise as quickly and pivot as is so much needed in a time when yesterday's news is not just old news — it's ancient.
