Find A Pain

An easy way to find a business idea, or at least a seed of one, is to think about the biggest failure you have had in your life. A failure is a situation that didn't result in success because there wasn't a solution.

Either because it just didn't exist or because you couldn't find it easily or it wasn't fit for purpose for you.

Maybe you tried a few solutions and they didn't work for you. As such you continue to hurtle towards failure.

If you can figure out why you failed, you may find your next business idea hidden in that story.

It might provide the beginnings of a 'problem to be solved' that other people have that you can now figure out how to solve better. And also there is nothing better than having a crucial insight into the space and having experienced that pain you will be a far better founder.
