Intentional Design

Lazy design makes me very sad. Why do we need to co-exist with things that are ugly or boring or lacking harmony when we can make them interesting or beautiful? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, of course, but there should still be a design intent. Even if you are aiming for intentionally ugly - there is still a beauty or interest or purpose in that intent realised.
